The Water Garden Tour is a self-guided Pond Tour that takes place the last weekend each July. This is our twelfth year promoting this tour, and we couldn’t be more excited! This two day event takes you to see some of the most amazing ponds, water features, patios, outdoor kitchens and landscapes at residential properties in Chester County. Saturday you’ll spend the day exploring these homes using one of the suggested routes provided or creating your own, and then wrap up your day with a Country Barbecue at Turpin Pond Source. This is where the fun continues with our Live Music, Silent and Live Auctions, Raffle and great food. The best part is that all of the proceeds from the Tickets Sales, Auctions and Raffle are donated to the Chester County Food Bank.
Last year the Brandywine Valley Water Garden Tour raised $15,500 for the Food Bank bringing our total donations for the last five years to $63,800! With the generous support of our donors and sponsors we have been able to continue to give back to those in our community who need it the most. Please join us for an amazing experience you’ll absolutely love, while being able to give back to the community. Tickets are available at several locations as well as online & at Turpin Pond Source.
Tickets are $35 for the self guided tour OR $50 for Uncle Bob’s Bus Tour. This Bus Tour is a recent addition to the tour which gives you the benefit of enjoying such an awesome event without having the responsibility to drive or navigate. Just sit back and relax while we do all the work. More info is available upon request. So mark your calendars, get your tickets and let’s have some fun! The Bus Tour is Saturday July 25th starting at 9AM (it includes a bag lunch too!) and you can wrap up your day with the Country Barbecue at 6pm at Turpin Pond Source then Sunday July 26th you can still visit some properties at your own pace until 5PM.
