If your Sweet-bay Magnolia or your delphiniums are blooming; it must be Garden Tour time in Chester County, PA and we couldn’t be happier! Let the fun begin! We invite all gardeners from novice to professional to join us on this stunning tour. Last year at our Senior Landscape Designer, Becky Turpin’s property, flower enthusiasts almost swooned on site. Often it is difficult to corral the gang back on the bus at her property because there is so much to see, discuss and photograph. It is hard to believe that all those spectacular gardens are on only a quarter of an acre lot. This wonderful tour is all a Garden Tour should be. It is interactive, meaning questions are always welcome as our landscape designers are the hosts of this Garden Tour. We try to feature at least 5 gardens each year depending on locations and if we can add an extra stop in, we often try.

Perhaps you are a novice or maybe your best friend purchased you a ticket and you can’t tell the difference between a Hydrangea and a Mock Orange; fear not! There is always some inspiration to be found on this tour. Last year one homeowner inspired all of us to recycle and reuse. Jodi used her non-working solar lights (the cone shaped one that you just push into the ground) as pots for her little succulents; these little beauties she placed in her beds for added interest. They inspired many who attended to look at what they already have at hand and think outside the box. These additions to her landscape weren’t the only clever item in Jodi’s gardens; she had other surprises tucked into her landscape for the attendees to find. Other homeowners on past Garden Tours collected handmade birdhouses and some had custom wood benches or patios featuring unusual natural stone pavers; there are unlimited ways to inspire your creativity when you attend this Garden Tour in Chester County, PA. Our goal is to provide you, our attendees, with a warm welcome, an inspiring horticultural tour and to do our best to have you thoroughly enthralled by all you see.

We should also mention that on this tour we provide transportation and we also include lunch and evening cocktails to wrap up the night. Lunch will each be served alfresco at one of the designated stops along the tour route. Drinks and snacks are provided along the way with merriment and congeniality in abundance. This lively and interactive tour also benefits the Chester County Food Bank and all the wonderful services they provide to our neighbors who struggle with insecure food sourcing on a daily, weekly or yearly bases.
